My favorite memories of 2021

Now is the time of the year where we all talk about how we cannot believe that another year has come and gone while we continue to sign our dates with 2021 instead of 2022 for at least all of January. After a year of many ups and downs, I decided to put a few of my favorite memories and pictures from them in one place. I did rank them, so it looks like you'll have to read all the way to see my favorite memory of the year (or skip them and scroll down, whichever you choose).
8) My first Rockies game
This wasn't my first MLB game, but it was my first time at Coors Field and it was a blast! I can't remember if the Rockies won or lost, but we may or may not have gotten in an argument with the people next to us... but that made the trip fun.
7) Our roomie Breckinridge trip
My roommates and I decided to take a day trip to Breck, and no, we didn't ski. In fact, we tried to go to around 4 different sight seeing spots and all of them were closed for the winter so the trip wasn't as successful, but it was memorable.
6) Summer sports camp job
Honestly, I think I loved this job so much because I got to show off my Marvel lunchbox every day. Throughout all the stress of kids telling their parents they drowned in the pool and a kid telling me I look 30 years old, I had a ton of fun.
5) Georgetown Loop Railroad
I still can't decide if this trip was memorable because of the breathtaking views from the train or because the train almost tipped off the tracks and the Santa on the train tried interrogating me for my "behavior".
4) CSU v Iowa football game
Not only was I the only CSU fan in my friend group, but I was the only CSU fan in our section of the student section. It was so awesome! I walked back from the stadium barefoot but I wouldn't have changed that experience for the world.
3) Family weekend
Since family weekend was virtual last year, my mom finally got to come out and meet all of my friends and experience a game day at CSU. At the tailgate, we even taught all the parents how to play a new drinking game and it's safe to say that they almost beat us.
2) Great Sand Dunes trip
This will probably always be one of my favorite camping trips. With a group of 12 people, it never got dull (besides the time when I almost passed out climbing the dunes). One of my roommate's cars almost tipped into a ditch and we got stormed on that night but it didn't even matter. It was such a fun trip.
1) Louis the Child concert
This was my first concert at Red Rocks and I can say it won't be my last. Louis the Child put on a great show and they even opened their open set! After the concert, I think I witnessed a drug deal in our hotel... or it was a glitch in the simulation we live in, I'm still not sure. Either way, it was a great concert and trip with my besties.
